Advisement Up

Student Academic Support System

Students' academic progress is monitored by a computer program called the Student Academic Support System (SASS). Approximately six weeks into Fall and Spring Semesters, a copy of each student's SASS audit, also known as a Tracking audit, is printed and placed in each student's academic folder.  Each student can and should regularly check their own SASS audit report through the Integrated Student Information System (ISIS) at www.isis.ufl.edu.

The data on the audit is based on the Registrar's transcript file.  Since the information used to certify graduation is obtained from the SASS audit, it is essential that this audit be reviewed each term to ensure that the records are accurate. If a discrepancy is found or if there is a question concerning the audit, the student should bring their SASS audit report to the Academic Advisement Office (Room 219 Chemical Engineering Bldg) for clarification and resolution of the problem.

Listed below are the explanations of the requirements shown in the SASS audit.

REQUIREMENT CODES - appear at the top left corner of each requirement

OK - Requirement has been met or is informational text only. If the requirement has several sub-requirements, all sub-requirements must be met before the requirement will state OK.

NO - Requirement has not been met, but is required for graduation. If the-requirement has several sub-requirements, the requirement will state NO until all sub-requirements have been met.

IP - Course "in progress" which may change the OK status of the requirement. Courses for which the student is currently enrolled will have an RG after the credits where the grade would normally be listed.

AA - Student has been awarded an AA degree and the requirement has been met based on completion of general education requirements at a Florida Public Community College or State University System institution.
